The sensor- type (NPN or PNP) and out- put status NO (normally open) and (normally closed) is shown on the correspon- dentLED. Red LED for NPN and green for PNP. A buzzer will tell you if the outputis active.Fault functionon the tester can be: Wrong sensor (e.g. AC sensors), defectsensor. The wireisnotconnected correct. The fuse in the test- er is burned.
